Script + Campaign Video Strategy
In 2024, as part of a marketing campaign I led, I wrote the script and gave creative direction for an animated campaign trailer. This video was sliced and diced for use on multiple platforms to promote a successful end-of-year matching grant campaign.
Video Production Strategy
1 in 4 customers lose interest if a site doesn’t include video.
In 2018, I identified a gap in American Bible Society’s asset-gathering strategy. International trips were conducted without cross-departmental collaboration, a clear communications strategy, international safety protocols, or a creative brief to guide production while on the ground. Often, this resulted in poor quality videos—or none at all.
After conducting 100+ hours of training and research off the clock, I created a streamlined system for planning international video production trips to be used for donor events and communications. I then led two trips to Mongolia and Guatemala.
Below are two short films we created during those trips.
The First Mongolian Sign Language Bible
In September 2019, I led a trip of 5 people to gather stories, photos, and videos of the Mongolian Sign Language Bible translation project. On the ground, we collaborated with members of the Deaf Church and the Mongolian Union Bible Society to create this video.
Trauma Healing in Guatemala
This gripping story was filmed on a trip I led to Guatemala in 2018. Due to the sensitive nature of the content, I ask that this be used for portfolio-viewing purposes only.
Video Brochure
Early in 2020, I wrote the script and helped produce a video to be used on a print video brochure. This piece contains a video screen with three videos about an upcoming museum called the Faith and Liberty Discovery Center. This video was used as the introduction. CTA = donors sign up to learn more about financially supporting the museum.
